The Office of the Lieutenant Governor now offers a Digital Delivery option for all Authentication requests submitted through a Document Authentication Request Form.
When Digital Delivery is selected on the request form, the email recipients you designate will be notified when the Apostille or Certificate is ready for download. Each recipient must complete a brief verification step before securely downloading the document.
Digital delivery provides a near-instant alternative to traditional mail and helps reduce wait times after a document has been processed.
Important reminders:
- Processing times remain the same. Digital delivery affects only how the completed certificate is delivered. It does not change the processing time required for review and issuance.
- Electronic Authentications carry the same legal authority and official certification as paper Authentications issued by this office.
- Each digital Apostille includes a unique certificate number and may be verified through the State's official Apostille verification system.
- Multiple recipient email addresses may be listed on the request form if the document needs to be delivered to more than one party.
